According to the AdEase report for the week of Feb 17 to 23, the Government of Canada now leads the list of most active radio advertisers, edging out Spence Diamonds.

The advertiser boosted its spend compared to the previous radio buying week, scoring 4,715 combined occurrences. It secured top rankings in several markets, including second place in Toronto, third in Edmonton, fifth in Ottawa, and seventh in both Vancouver and Montreal.

Desjardins Group trailed closely behind with 4,694 total occurrences, surpassing its previous week’s count of 4,189. Close behind was Toyota Dealers, which secured third place with 4,542 total occurrences, followed by Government of Quebec (4,025 occurrences) and Crave TV (3,107 occurrences). All three advertisers increased their buy from the previous week.

Other notable marketers on the list were Nexgard (2,365 occurrences), the Government Of Alberta (2,303 occurrences), and Wise Payments (1,856 occurrences).

On the category side, dine-in restaurants and bars, grocery stores and supermarkets, local government, TV and streaming services, and online travel agency were the top spending groups.
