AdEase’s latest report shows that Subaru dominated the TV market from Feb 17 to 23, increasing its buy compared to the previous buying week.

The automaker scored 2,443 combined occurrences during that week, landing first in Vancouver and Calgary, while coming in second in Toronto and fifth in Montreal.

Although RBC Financial Group came in second position with 2,094 occurrences, the marketer recorded fewer appearances than the previous week. It was followed by McDonald’s (1,930 occurrences), which also reduced its TV buy from last week, and Tim Hortons (1,763 occurrences), which increased its presence. Meanwhile, The Brick Warehouse, which ranked fifth, upped its purchase to 1,325 occurrences.

Leon’s Furniture made the biggest move in Vancouver, while Save-On Foods was the advertiser that moved the most in Calgary. In Toronto, the Liberal Party of Ontario gained the most, and in Montreal, it was the Government of Quebec.

Category-wise, QSRs remain the highest-spending group, along with furniture stores, and TV and streaming services.
