MiQ shuffles its leadership team

Joe Peters has been promoted to chief executive officer, while current CEO moves to executive chair.

MiQ is making changes at the top of its org chart. The programmatic media company has promoted current COO Joe Peters (pictured) to CEO of MiQ Canada while making Jason Furlano chief growth officer of MiQ across North America.

Meanwhile, current CEO Alfie Atkinson will transition to executive chair while also leading the MiQ UK team as CEO. And Sandra Bonnick has been hired as chief of staff.

According to a company statement, Peters’ mandate will be to find ways of evolving how MiQ Canada brings value to its customers and innovates within the Canadian market.

The statement adds that Furlano will take on MiQ’s first North American commercial role, expanding his previous role of chief revenue officer in Canada, driving commercial strategy on both sides of the border and accelerating strategic areas of growth for each market.

“MiQ’s Canadian business is committed to continuing to drive sustainable growth and the leadership team and I look forward to levelling up in all areas over the coming months as we innovate in new and exciting ways with our partners,” Atkinson says. ”Joe has naturally evolved into the CEO role for the Canada region and Jay’s expanded remit is a testament to the commercial delivery of the business to date.”

In addition to bolstering the company’s technology and expanding MiQ’s product suite, the new team will look towards advancing offerings across CTV, commerce and retail media.
