Tim Hortons led the pack as the most active advertiser for the week of April 7 to 13, according to the latest AdEase TV report.
The QSR scored 2,706 combined occurrences and secured the second position across all markets. In the past TV buying week, Tims ranked second overall, with 2,050 total appearances.
After being absent from the previous week’s report, The Brick Warehouse jumped to second place with 2,258 occurrences. Subaru Canada ranked third with 2,148 appearances, a significant increase of 1,694 from the prior week. And rounding out the top five were Crave TV with 1,722 occurrences (down from last week) and Domino’s Pizza with 1,624 occurrences (up from last week).
On a regional breakdown, The Brick Warehouse saw significant gains in Vancouver, Calgary and Montreal, rising 338, 378, and 392 places, respectively. Meanwhile, in Toronto, Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation was the advertiser that rose the most, climbing 492 positions to seventh place.
In terms of categories, QSR maintained its position as the top spending group, followed closely by furniture stores and TV and streaming services.
