A new partnership between Postmedia Network and Veeps, a global platform for live-streamed concerts and entertainment, is bringing Veeps All Access to Canada for the first time.
According to the platform, Veeps All Access is the first music subscription service to offer unlimited viewing of concerts and live music entertainment for a monthly or annual fee. This collaboration between Veeps and Postmedia Studios will deliver access to live entertainment for audiences across Canada, from major cities to small towns, both live and on-demand.
As part of the collaboration, Postmedia has launched a new music coverage channel on Canoe (canoe.com), which was recently rebranded as an entertainment, lifestyle, shopping and commerce site. On Canoe, audiences will find music and industry coverage from across the country, be the first to hear about concert news and trends and get access to interviews with artists performing on Veeps.
The launch includes a special livestream event featuring Canadian band Metric, which will perform live from Toronto’s Budweiser Stage on June 6.
Publicis acquires influencer marketing platform Captiv8
Publicis Groupe has acquired influencer marketing platform Captiv8 to enhance its global creator marketing capabilities and solidify its social commerce presence.
Under the acquisition, Captiv8 will be integrated into Publicis Connected Media, joining forces with Influential, a fellow influencer agency that Publicis acquired last July. This combination is intended to result in what Publicis calls “the world’s most advanced end-to-end influencer marketing platform.”
Captiv8 boasts a comprehensive social commerce suite, branded storefronts and a proprietary AI platform, which supports clients in 120 countries and processes more than 2.5 billion social posts annually. Along with Influential, it will connect brands with more than 15 million creators, both covering 95% of influencers with more than 5,000 followers.
According to Publicis, Captiv8’s influencer platform, powered by Epsilon’s CoreID, will enable brands to unify, deploy and control their creator strategies across social platforms, media channels and markets. The integration will allow creators and brands to monetize content and drive conversions across social, commerce and affiliate channels in one environment. By aggregating identity, influencer and transaction data within Captiv8’s platform, Publicis said it will also provide clients with real-time, full-funnel measurement of creator marketing’s business impact.
The deal comes just months after Publicis Groupe acquired data and identity solutions company Lotame in March, expanding its targeted marketing capabilities through Epsilon.
