Canada is flexing its media muscles at Cannes this year, earning 14 mentions on the Media shortlist, the most of any shortlist released by the festival so far.
The shortlist dropped Sunday morning in Cannes, alongside those for Design, Digital Craft, the Entertainment Lions for Gaming, Music and Sport, as well as Film Craft, Social and Creator, Industry Craft and PR.
Across those shortlists, Canadian work showed up a total of 75 times – bumping the country’s overall tally to 95 shortlist mentions as of today.
In total, Cannes Lions has released shortlists for 20 categories, with another 10 still to come between June 16 and 18.
Winners in the Media category will be crowned during a gala in Cannes on Wednesday, June 18. Media in Canada will break the news at 3:30pm (EST) / 9:30pm (CEST).
