Days Inns Canada announced Tuesday it has extended its partnership with Curling Canada for the 2026 season.

Built into the sponsorship is Days Inn-branded LED-animated rink boards, digital, social and print advertising.  The hotel brand, owned by Realstar Hospitality, will also maintain its presence at three of the sport’s marquee championship events: the 2026 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Mississauga, Ont., the 2026 Montana’s Brier Presented by AGI in St. John’s, NL, and the 2026 BKT World Women’s Championship in Calgary. On-site activations are planned for the championship weekends.

Curling Canada’s community of more than 50,000 members can also take advantage of exclusive promotional offers from Days Inns Canada, which has 105 independently owned and operated properties across the country.

Curling Canada is the sport’s national governing body, responsible for developing, promoting and organizing curling across Canada.

“Our ongoing partnership with Days Inns Canada is another example of the value that partnerships can create for curling fans,” Nolan Thiessen, CEO of Curling Canada, said in a news release. “This partnership not only supports Curling Canada, it creates savings for curling fans to attend our major events and we’re excited to join forces again this year and see the partnership continue to grow.”

NHL inks deal with Corpay to manage foreign exchange

Also Tuesday, the NHL announced a multi-year North American partnership making Corpay its official foreign exchange (FX) provider.

The league says it will benefit from Corpay’s global payment management platform and that Corpay’s Cross-Border solutions will help it mitigate FX exposure in its daily operations, which includes salaries to players from more than 20 countries.

As part of the partnership, Corpay will have brand presence on the NHL’s digitally enhanced dasherboards and in-stadium signage at the NHL Winter Classic, the NHL Stadium Series and the NHL Heritage Classic, in addition to other activation opportunities at NHL tentpole events in future seasons.

Corpay and the NHL will also create co-branded content across Corpay and NHL owned media platforms.
