The latest report from AdEase shows that Novo Nordisk dominated the airwaves during the week of November 10 to 16.

The Ozempic and Wegovy maker, headquartered in Mississauga, was the most active radio advertiser, amassing 9,362 combined occurrences – a slight dip from the previous week’s 9,428. It ranked first in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa and Toronto, and sixth in Quebec City with an ad for its Wegovy and Ozempic prescription savings card.

The pharmaceutical company has been active on radio in recent weeks, having led the AdEase ranking for the week of October 27  to November 2.

Spence Diamonds followed with 6,190 total occurrences, up from last week, while Mark’s Work Warehouse took third place with 5,175 combined occurrences after missing the prior ranking. Canon Canada, which placed third last week with its new EOS R50 V ad, fell to fourth; its occurrences decreased to 5,126.

Finally, Tim Hortons rounded out the top five with 4,002 occurrences, up from an absence the week before.

At the category level, the QSR group led with 11,629 occurrences, followed by grocery stores and supermarkets (8,807 occurrences). Dine‑in restaurants and bars slipped to fourth, overtaken by other medicine (7,784 occurrences). The dine‑in segment recorded 7,701 occurrences.
