The Canadian Out-of-Home Measurement Bureau (COMB) has announced its new board of directors, adding four new media buyers and sellers to the board.
From the agency side, Petra Moy, VP, client business partner with UM Canada and Moira Gilderson, VP and associate media director of Dentsu Media have joined the board. From the seller side, Debbie Drutz, VP of OOH sales at Astral Out of Home and Brandon Newman, SVP of sales at Outfront Media Canada have been named to the board.
The appointments, which are year-long, are effective immediately.
Karine Courtemanche, president of Touché will continue as chair of the COMB board of directors after assuming the position from former chair David Petryna (GM of Outdoor Exposure). Petryna is among the 13 returning board members, which also includes:
- Barry Wilde, CFO of Pattison Outdoor Advertising (COMB Treasurer);
- Rosanne Caron, president of COMB;
- Craig Jennings, director of media/agency management at RBC;
- Brooke Leland, SVP and GM for English Canada at Cossette Media;
- Kristine Lyrette, president of Zenith Optimedia;
- Lisa Kahn, SVP and business director of Media Com;
- Randy Otto, president of Pattison Outdoor Advertising
- Michele Erskine, CEO of Outfront Media Canada;
- Bob Leroux, VP and GM of national sales at Pattison Outdoor Advertising;
- Troy Sedgwick, president and CEO of REC Media; and
- Philippe Marchessault, EVP of operations development and innovations at Newad
COMB currently publishes circulation and market data for more than 61,000 OOH advertising faces in 270 markets. Its most recent audit found that the circulation, population and density data reported by OOH companies in the Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal markets are 98.7% accurate.
