Wavemaker Canada has rounded out its executive team with a new hire and a pair of promotions.
New to the agency is Corissa Henry, who has been hired as VP of marketing intelligence and science. Her mandate at Wavemaker includes overseeing a holistic digital offering spanning performance analytics, attribution and consulting services, as well as working with clients to refine and evolve their data strategy.
Henry is returning to the Group M fold after a short hiatus, having previously worked at Essence. She joins from a client-side role at Deciem, where she was global head of digital media.
Wavemaker has also moved Cory Chisholm from VP of client leadership to a new VP of operations position. Chisholm has been with the agency for more than eight years, moving up the ladder steadily from when he started in account director roles.
“Wavemaker Canada has seen significant growth in the past year, which prompted the need for some structural change,” says Ryan Webber, who was named Wavemaker Canada’s CEO last year. “A focus on operations and internal best practices will ensure we can codify and scale consistency and agility across client teams.”
Filing in Chisholm’s previous position is Alice DiGiovanni, who has been promoted to VP of client leadership. The former managing director has handled some of Wavemaker’s largest clients for the past five years, having joined the agency in 2018 from Isobar.
Major clients wins for Wavemaker over the last 12 months include Sun Life Canada and Audible. Other major clients include Kruger, Molson Coors and KFC.
