Ray adds in-house media to its roster

Media veteran Robin Cook is now leading in-house media services for independent east coast agency, Ray, as media director.

Robin CookSt. John’s-based creative ad agency Ray has expanded its media services with the launch of its new in-house media unit helmed by Robin Cook as director of media.

Cook is a 25-year veteran of the media industry and is based in Nova Scotia. She’s worked throughout Canada at agencies like Vector Media, Cossette, Target and Revolve and for clients including Export Development Canada, the National Gallery of Canada, Bell, PEI Tourism, Newfoundland and Labrador Tourism, Irving, Polaris Industries and Timber Mart. Most recently, she served as the director of marketing for city wide communications in Halifax.

Ray is the only female-owned and led agency in Atlantic Canada. The agency, helmed by Jenny Smith, president and executive creative director, marked its 10th anniversary this past summer and has been growing its client roster throughout Atlantic Canada and Ontario. New clients include Atlantic Lottery, Genoa Design, Taylor Real Estate Group, East Coast Credit Union, PAL Airlines, and the Atlantic Canadian Credit Union.

At the 2023 ICE Awards held in Halifax in early October, Ray picked up 17 ICE Awards, including six gold and four silver for eight different clients.
