Prospect Media Group (PMG) has hired Horizon Media executive Sheri Rogers as EVP, managing director.
Rogers, who will start at Prospect on Feb. 5, will oversee the agency’s operations and services. She has been tasked with expanding Prospect’s offerings and developing stronger relationships with existing clients.
Rogers will join Prospect after three years as EVP of Business Solutions at Horizon Media. She previously held executive positions at agencies including Dentsu Media and Cossette. In 2017, she founded Tribe Consulting, a Toronto-based agency that teaches small business owners how to develop marketing strategies, and currently serves as its president.
Her hiring comes at a time when Prospect is “furthering its investments in client relationships, products, services, and technology addressing automation and predictive analytics,” says the company’s president Dave Mathews.
IT service management firm Ciscom bought Prospect in 2022 and, last March, merged the agency’s client portfolio with that of Market Focus Direct, an advertising firm it acquired in 2021. “On the Ciscom front, we are acquiring businesses in the ICT sector. Now that the company is publicly traded, we are very active on the M&A side,” Mathews adds.
Looking ahead, Mathews says Prospect is “at the onset of AI and will focus on developing concrete applications for our clients.”
