The latest AdEase report shows that Subaru was the most active advertiser on TV during the week of June 9 to 15.
With 2,691 combined occurrences, the automaker landed first in the ranking in Vancouver and Calgary, while coming in second in Toronto and fourth in Montreal. The advertiser also dominated the charts last week with its campaign for the 2025 Forester model, which features a child asking “Dad, where do bunnies live?” to showcase the vehicle’s safety and adventure capabilities.
CIBC took second place with 2,277 combined occurrences, down from 2,399 last week. Tim Hortons ranked third with 2,146 occurrences, a rise from last week. Crave TV followed with 1,808 total occurrences, while Subway rounded out the top five with 1,689 combined occurrences, more than doubling its count from 758 last week.
Across all cities, QSRs emerged as the dominant force in TV, leading in Vancouver with 3,042 occurrences. The TV and streaming services category also featured prominently, reflecting the growing importance of digital media. Import SUVs corporate was another significant category, as well as everyday banking services.
