MuchMusic announces more celebs for fall sked

The music station's got some new originals, some returning faves, and a little bit from the CTV archives.

MuchMusic unveiled its fall programming sked on Friday with details on two new original series, lots of celebrity-packed shows, and returning titles. The music net’s also bringing in So You Think You Can Dance? and The O.C. in the aftermath of CTVglobemedia’s buyout of CHUM.

The Totally Untrue History Of… (Monday, Aug. 20, 8 pm ET), is a mockumentary series that weaves tall tales about celebs – such as Hilary Duff, Usher, Eminem and Jessica Simpson (pictured). The net’s other new original entry is Stars Gone Wild (Wednesday, Aug. 22, 10 pm ET), a 15 ep half-hour series about celebs – such as 50 Cent, Lindsay Lohan, and Paris Hilton. As the title suggests, it’s about running afoul of the law and public hissy fits.

MuchMusic is also set to air four back-to-back seasons of The O.C. (weekdays at 4 pm and 7 pm ET, starting Monday, Aug. 20), along with So You Think You Can Dance III (Sunday, Sept. 2, 6 pm ET). The net will also premiere two imported series featuring New York hip hop DJ Funkmaster Flex: All Muscle with Funkmaster Flex (Sunday, Aug. 19 at 8 pm ET) and Car Wars With Funkmaster Flex (Sunday, Oct. 28 at 8 pm ET).

New seasons of returning series are also on the sked, including: Video on Trial (Sunday, Aug. 19 at 8:30 pm ET) and MuchOnDemand (Weekdays at 5 pm ET). Of course, concerts and specials are in the works and have yet to be named. Friday nights will also feature MuchMovies.
