Spotted! T.O.night goes under the Code
The free commuter daily sports a logo-free cover wrap to promote the debut of The Chicago Code on Global last night.
In a slick promo for its new show, The Chicago Code, Shaw Media last evening ran a logo-free cover wrap with Toronto commuter daily T.O.night.
Featuring an authentic-looking masthead, the wrap made the letter-size newspaper appear to be the ‘Chicago Tribute,’ a not-so-subtle take on the Chicago Tribune, the city’s metro daily.
Inside the front cover of the wrap was an ad for The Chicago Code, and on the facing page, the usual T.O.night cover. The back page also featured Shaw Media creative with an ad for House.
The Chicago Code premiered last night on Global at 9 p.m. Ratings for the show will likely be released this evening.
