Teletoon gets fruity for General Mills

Fruity Cheerios are getting a starring role in a branded campaign on the Tooncaster's fall sked.

Teletoon has launched a cross-platform campaign called Go! – tying General Mills’ Fruity Cheerios to interactive lessons about healthy food choices and exercise.

The Go! microsite offers up interactive surveys and quizzes. A new multiple-choice question is posted online every Monday, while results will be shown on-air in branded spots throughout the following week. Site visitors will also see suggestions for healthy living activities, from wakeboarding to karate and walking a dog.

Three characters will lead participants through the microsite and the on-air survey results. First comes the Fruity Cheerios Guy (pictured). Joining him later will be two characters formed from summer and winter sports equipment.
