Statements Media, which recently landed Wrigley Canada as the newest client for its network of tanning salon ad-boards, has begun a six-month campaign for Freedent Total whitening gum. The Toronto-based ambient media specialist is installing witty posters promoting the tooth-whitening product in hundreds of tanning salon rooms. As well, more than 100,000 sample packets of the product will be distributed to tanning salon patrons.
‘Statements’ tanning salon network is a great venue to position our client’s product to a targeted consumer segment,’ says Suzanne Ware, associate director at Wrigley’s Toronto-based media AOR, OMD Canada. ‘Tanners are undoubtedly image-conscious, and will appreciate the proven whitening capabilities of this new gum.’ Creative for the campaign was developed by Leo Burnett Toronto.
