Volt Media goes for more screens

Atlantic Canada's largest digital out-of-home screen seller has expanded its reach beyond schools.

Halifax-based Volt Media is expanding its reach by heading media sales for two more digital signage properties: Halifax Metro Centre’s exterior video board and Dresden Row Market’s digital signage network.

Volt reports the Halifax Metro Centre’s video board has daily viewership of about 25,000 people. The Dresden Row Market’s digital signage network, which puts advertisers on quadrant screens at point-of-sale and exit/entrance points, reaches nearly 3,000 customers per day.

At this time last year, Volt Media’s University digital signage network was delivering about 200,000 impressions weekly (click here for MiC‘s coverage). It is Atlantic Canada’s largest out-of-home digital signage company. Clients include Subway, Careerbeacon.com and the Workers’ Compensation Board of Nova Scotia (WCB), which saw Volt Media’s University Network boost the WCB’s online visitors by 25% and achieve a 10% recall with young people across Nova Scotia.

Volt Media says it will seek out and develop other niche digital signage networks in a bid to expand further before the end of the year.
