The latest Dove commercial, Evolution, by Ogilvy Toronto, was able to do what most advertisers can only dream of: it was the #1 most-watched video on YouTube on Monday, October 16, scoring hundreds of thousands of views in the first couple days of being uploaded.
And, Dove’s American marketing team liked the Canadian spot so much that they picked it up for themselves and unleashed their substantial PR resources, landing coverage by big US outlets like ABC News, Good Morning America, CNN and Entertainment Tonight.
