Corus Entertainment’s W Network, boasting an average monthly viewership of 10 million, has a new decorating reality show coming, Ann Maurice: Interior Rivalry. The show may pull in fans from the net’s House Doctor series, which also featured Maurice. In this new offering, the host hunts for 30 of Britain’s best home stagers – people who can turn the most unappealing home into a sellable showcase. The five one-hour episodes begin Thursday, Feb. 1 in the 10 pm time slot.
W is putting The Closer into the Friday 10 pm time slot, starting Feb. 9. The critically-acclaimed series, created by the team behind Nip/Tuck and The Agency, stars Golden Globe winner Kyra Sedgwick as a tough-talking cop who puts CIA skills to work in getting confessions from the bad guys.
Corus is also unveiling Project Mom, the counterpart series to January’s premiere of Project Dad (click for here MiC‘s coverage). The series premieres in the same time slot as its companion series on Monday, Feb. 19 at 10 pm ET. Both shows, hosted by Beverley Mahood, involved cross-country searches for parents worthy of being transformed into their favourite country music stars.
From Alliance Atlantis, Life Network’s February Programming highlights include some femme gems.
The Canadian premiere of Style Star – celebrating the fashion sense of famous beauties such as Naomi Campbell, Gwen Stefani and The O.C.‘s Rachel Bilson – starts Feb. 4 in Life Network’s Sunday 5 pm ET/2 pm PT time slot.
In the Wednesday, 9 pm ET/6 pm PT time slot, the net’s bringing Try My Life to the air for a Canadian premiere, starting Feb. 7.
