Alliance Atlantis is bringing nine new series to its Fine Living specialty net this month. The shows fit with the net's goal of guiding the high earner towards becoming a smarter consumer.

Specialty net Fine Living is debuting nine new series, beginning Monday, March 12. All nine new shows will revolve around providing consumer-info-friendly tips on money, dining, travel, design and well-being for the time-starved family.

Programming, with new shows like What’s Your Time Worth? and American Shopper, is geared toward the philosophy of ‘inspiring and empowering people to find ways to spend their time and money,’ and the net focuses on acting as a kind of buyer’s guide, providing consumers with useful tips and information on making buying decisions, says Sherida German, marketing manager at Fine Living.

The Fine Living demo (based on US viewers) is in the 25-54 age range, with an even men/women split, family-oriented and living a hectic lifestyle, and have an average income level of US$75,000+.

New series this month include:

We Live Here

Tues., at 8:30 p.m. ET / 9:30 p.m. PT beginning March 13

Hot spots like New York and San Francisco attract millions of viewers a year. We Live Here will take audiences to all the best places to eat, hang out and have fun with the locals, who will play host to the viewers.

Windshield America

Wed., at 9:30 p.m. ET/ 10:30 p.m. PT beginning March 14

This documentary-style show will reveal the stories of people who make a living doing what they love, regardless of the paycheque.

Me vs. Me

Wed., at 9 p.m. ET/ 10 p.m. PT beginning March 14

Each half hour episode will document the success of amateur athletes (‘weekend warriors’) reaching for the gold with the help of trained experts.

Dinner Date
