Freak Show stars premature baby and Siamese twins who separate

The Comedy Network is unveiling its latest animated series, and it promises political incorrectness of a different kind than the kiddies of South Park.

The Comedy Network is set to premiere Freak Show – about a band of carnival freaks secretly employed to undertake low-priority missions for the Pentagon – on Sunday, May 13 in the 9:30 pm time slot. The show, which aired on Comedy Central in the US last fall, comes from the twisted minds of Arrested Development‘s David Cross and Dr. Katz‘s Jon Benjamin. Freak Show chronicles the adventures of performers in America’s last independently owned freak show, who take on tasks for the Pentagon that include everything from destroying a billboard that slanders the president to apartment-hunting for his friend’s cat.

Along with Cross and Benjamin, Freak Show features the voices of Janeane Garofalo (The Truth About Cats and Dogs), Will Arnett (Arrested Development), Brian Stack (30 Rock), plus Todd Barry and Jon Glaser (Aqua Teen Hunger Force).

The Comedy Network will begin airing promos for the show on Sunday, April 29.
