A sister site to – which currently covers 16 cities across the country and attracts more than 150,000 unique visitors per month – was launched recently to attract and service thousands of Canadians who are part of the current craze for revamping residences.

The localized directory of home furnishing and décor retailers, which is aimed at mid-to-high-income home owners, also offers advice and inspiration on interior decorating. Cities currently listed are Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver and Calgary, and plans are in the works to expand across Canada in the near future – and to reach over 30,000 unique visitors by the end of this year.

A representative of both sites says visitors spend significant amounts of time surfing their content. Advertisers have the option of having their brands featured, as well as using strategic ad placements and editorial options to deliver messages, just when site users are making home improvement decisions. Ads can be geo-targeted to any city across Canada in French as well as English.

Current advertisers include Sears, Bell Canada, Delta Faucets, Scotia Bank, the Canadian Government (CMHC) and Owens Corning.
