Score Media’s sports net has picked up exclusive multiplatform rights for the Barclays Premier League – one of the world’s most watched and most lucrative soccer leagues. The Score Television Network’s three seasons of coverage kick off on August 12 at 11 am ET and will include online and mobile features and highlights. Game skeds are online at TheScore.ca/epl.

The net will launch a new program, The Footy Show, hosted by James Sharman, to cover the world of soccer. The show will air Fridays from 6:30-7:30 pm, Saturdays from 6-7 pm, Sundays from 10:30-11 am, and Mondays from 6:30-7 pm.

Score Media will sublicense the remaining games from its Barclay’s Premier League package to international broadcaster Setanta Sports, which operates in Australia, Ireland, North America and Great Britain.
