Global is set to premiere the new game show Power of 10 on August 7 in the 8 pm ET/PT time slot. After the premiere, the show takes a regular time slot on Wednesdays at 8 pm ET/PT, starting August 8.

Hosted by Drew Carey, the show rewards – with a $10-million pay-cheque – the contestant who can most accurately predict how the American public responds to a number of intriguing poll questions.

At the upfronts, CBS had cited Power of 10 as a midseason offering (click here for MiC‘s coverage). No word yet on whether Carey’s duties on this show will conflict with his just-announced gig as the new host of The Price is Right following Bob Barker’s retirement.
