CanWest reveals fall premiere dates

Global's Friday night has undergone a shuffle since the upfronts, and the specialty channels are getting reruns of Family Guy, Las Vegas and Bones, plus a long list of other shows.

Global

Global’s fall prime-time schedule hasn’t changed much since the plan presented at the upfronts in June, with the exception of a shuffle on Friday nights. The net had originally programmed the 8-11 pm block with Friday Night Lights leading in to Las Vegas, followed by Numb3rs. Now, Numb3rs will kick off Friday prime time at 8 pm, followed by Friday Night Lights at 9 pm and Las Vegas at 10 pm.

Here’s what the fall season’s prime time on Global looks like now (with new series in caps):

Monday: Prison Break – 8 pm beginning Sept. 17; Heroes – 9 pm beginning Sept. 24; JOURNEYMAN – 10 pm beginning Sept. 24.

Tuesday: NCIS – 8 pm beginning Sept. 25; House – 9 pm beginning Sept. 25; CANE – 10 pm beginning Sept. 25.

Wednesday: BACK TO YOU – 8 pm beginning Sept. 19; ‘Til Death – 8:30 pm beginning Sept. 19; Bones – 9 pm beginning Sept. 19; LIFE – 10 pm beginning Sept. 26.

Friday: Numb3rs – 8 pm beginning Sept. 28; Friday Night Lights – 9 pm beginning October 5; Las Vegas – 9 pm Sept. 28 (two-hour special), 10 pm beginning October 5.

Saturday: Risk Takers – 8 pm (Date TBC); Painkiller Jane – 9 pm (date TBA); Global Currents – 10 pm beginning October 13.

Sunday: ‘DA KINK IN MY HAIR – 7:30 pm beginning October 14; The Simpsons – 8 pm beginning Sept. 23; King of the Hill – 8:30 pm beginning Sept. 23; Family Guy – 9 pm beginning Sept. 23 (one-hour special); American Dad – 9:30 pm beginning Sept. 30; Brothers & Sisters – 10 pm beginning Sept. 3

With the exception of Global’s Friday night shuffle and Citytv’s re-sked of Chuck to Monday at 8 pm (click here for that story), MiC‘s national grid remains correct. An updated version of the grid will be published in August.
