Showcase will present the Canadian premieres of two seasons of Trial and Retribution on Dec. 7, 14 and 21. The series begins at 3 pm with three back-to back episodes of Season 9: The Lovers, followed by Season 10: The Sins of the Father, also with three consecutive one-hour episodes.

The Ali G in Da USA season two marathon will begin Dec. 8 at 10 pm ET. Sacha Baron Cohen (pictured) interacts with unsuspecting Americans in his Borat, Bruno and Ali G personas. Highlights include Ali G asking Pat Buchanan his opinion on Iraq’s possession of ‘BLTs,’ and talking about Moses and the US Constitution with historian Gore Vidal.

The offbeat British comedy drama Shameless‘s Christmas special will air Dec. 15 at 9 pm, with the dysfunctional Gallagher family celebrating a non-traditional Christmas at Chatsworth Estate in Manchester. Meanwhile, it’s Christmas at Sunnyvale Trailer Park for Bubbles, Ricky, Julian and Mr. Lahey in the Trailer Park Boys Christmas special, airing Dec. 24 at 9 pm and again on Dec. 31 at 9 pm.

As well, Showcase will air movies every night from Dec. 21-Jan. 1, for the ’12 Days of Christmas Movie Event.’ Sin City is first on Dec. 21 at 11 pm. The Network premiere of Thirteen airs Dec. 22; Bad Santa on Dec. 23; Home For The Holidays on Dec. 24; Pulp Fiction on Dec. 25; The Client on Dec. 26; Striptease on Dec. 27; Prey For Rock and Roll on Dec. 28; Butterfly Effect on Dec. 29; Get Shorty on Dec. 30; The Matrix on Dec. 31; and Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle on Jan. 1.

A sci-fi movie marathon will kick off on Monday, Dec. 31, with Twister at 12 pm, followed by Mars Attacks at 2:30 pm, Teenage Space Vampires at 4:45 and Destination Infestation at 6:45 pm.
