YTV has plenty of Christmas-themed movies this month. The network will kick off its holiday programming with Jack Frost, starring Michael Keaton and Kelly Preston, on Dec. 1 at 8 pm. Blizzard, a film about a reindeer whose empathetic navigation leads him to a lonely little girl, will air on Dec. 2 at 6 pm.

More Christmas-themed movies will run from Dec. 8-20, beginning with two Scrooge-themed films on the 8th. At 6:30 pm, Fred Flintstone gets carried away with his role as Scrooge in a play at the Bedrock community theatre in A Flintstone Christmas Carol. Then at 8 pm, Bill Murray stars as a curmudgeonly TV mogul in Scrooged, also starring Tom Waits, Carol Kane and Bobcat Goldthwait.

A Year Without Santa Claus will air Dec. 9 at 12 pm (repeating Dec. 16 at 7:30 pm and Dec. 19 at 6 pm). Santa Claus is Coming to Town, telling the story of Kris Kringle and featuring the voice of Fred Astaire, will air Dec. 16 at 2 pm (repeating Dec. 19 at 7 pm and Dec. 25 at 5 pm).

On Dec. 19 at 6 pm on ZAPX with host Simon, Christmas With the Kranks, starring Tim Allen and Dan Aykroyd, will air. Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, the classic featuring narration by Burl Ives, will air Dec. 20 at 8 pm (repeating Dec. 23 at 11 am and Dec. 24 at 6 pm). Charlie Brown discovers the real meaning of Christmas in A Charlie Brown Christmas, which will air Dec. 16 at 7 pm (repeating Dec. 20 at 7 pm), and A Garfield Christmas Special will air Dec. 16 at 6 pm (repeating Dec. 20 at 7:30 pm).

For viewers who want to wind down after Christmas with some familiar, non-Christmas-themed shows, YTV is airing back-to-back episodes of Ruby Gloom, SpongeBob SquarePants, Avatar, Ghost Trackers, Prank Patrol and the reality hit The Adrenaline Project from Dec. 26-Dec. 31. Also on Dec. 31, from 3 p.m. to 6 am, episodes of Pokemon, Naruto and Death Note will air, as well as the movie Full Metal Alchemist: Conqueror of Shamballa.
