Air Miles is searching for Canada’s top heart-warming or humourous tale about collecting reward miles. The marketer’s ‘Memories’ competition, which will award 15,000 reward miles to the winner and 500 each to runners-up, marks Air Miles’ 15th anniversary.
More than 1,050 submissions were received on the first day of the promotion, and that number grew to 5,000 by the end of the third day. In all, about 10,450 collectors submitted stories between October 15 and November 12, some uploading photos as well. Air Miles is now asking consumers to view the top 10 stories and vote for their favourites at AirMilesForEveryone.ca by December 3.
There are more than nine million active Air Miles collector accounts in Canada, representing about two-thirds of Canadian households.
