New air dates for Murdoch Mysteries

The new batch of Victorian-era crime stories, with Yannick Bisson succeeding Peter Outerbridge as the brainiac detective, will roll out across the country later this month.

Revised premiere dates and weekly time slots for a new run of Murdoch Mysteries have been announced, updating those reported in MiC last month. The Victorian-era crime series features an ahead-of-his-time detective who uses science to crack cases in 19th-century Toronto. Peter Outerbridge (ReGenesis) starred in an earlier run of MOWs, but he has been replaced by Yannick Bisson (Sue Thomas: F.B. Eye) for the new (13 x 60) series.

The Citytv series will be broadcast in Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver on Thursdays at 10 pm beginning Jan. 24 (repeating Saturdays at 8 pm), and in Winnipeg Sunday at 9 pm starting Jan. 20 (no repeat).
