Cossette takes on Internet mandate for Tourism Montreal

Cossette Media was already handling traditional media planning and buys for Montreal's international tourism promos. Now it's got the mandate to add online to the mix.

Montreal-based Cossette Media has won the international Internet media planning and buying mandate for Tourism Montreal, including all work related to search marketing. Cossette Media has been responsible for Tourism Montreal’s traditional media planning and buying since 2005.

Cossette Media VP and media director John Tarantino tells MiC that adding Internet buys to the media mix made sense for the client. ‘It’s best when all media types are planned together and work together to effectively reach the consumer and get them to react,’ he says. ‘We are putting together tactics that will ensure all media work together at achieving successful results.’

Ad creative will continue to come from Tourism Montreal’s creative agency, Sid Lee.
