Corus boosts Giacomelli’s radio sales duties

With the conglom since its 1999 inception, he's been VP sales overseeing radio sales for the past year, and is now also director of sales for the company's Toronto cluster.

Corus Entertainment announced on Friday that Victor Giacomelli, VP sales for Corus Radio for the past year, will now also serve as director of sales for the company’s Toronto cluster.

Giacomelli has been with Corus since its inception in 1999. Originally he was retail sales supervisor at CHML and Y95, and when the stations were acquired by Corus, he later became the retail sales manager for Corus Radio Hamilton. He moved to Toronto in 2002 as general sales manager at 102.1 the Edge before taking on expanded duties for the entire cluster.

Corus Radio, Corus Radio Toronto, Q107, AM 640 Toronto Radio and 102.1 the Edge are owned by Corus Entertainment, whose multimedia entertainment brands include YTV, Treehouse, W Network, Movie Central, Nelvana, Kids Can Press and radio stations including CKNW and CKOI.
