Insight Sports named sponsorship agency for Buffalo Bills

This is who you're gonna call if you want to hitch your brand to a big, bad NFL team during the next five years, as the league makes sports history by playing a couple of games a year on our side of the border.

Just in time for the arrival in Canada this fall of NFL games, Insight Sports has become the official sponsorship agent for the Buffalo Bills team.

From 2008 to 2012, the Buffalo Bills will play an annual regular season game and a total of three pre-season games at Toronto’s Rogers Centre. The first pre-season game will be played in August or September, with the latter two taking place in 2010 and 2012. The date for the first ever regular season NFL game in Canada will be announced in the coming weeks.

The Toronto agency will be responsible for developing, marketing and executing all of the series’ sponsorships – including pursuit of a title sponsor for the series. The series’ sponsorships will consist of integrated marketing platforms including event logos and promotional rights, in-stadium advertising, pre-game and post-game activities, hospitality and various media assets.

‘Insight Sports is thrilled and honoured to be working with the Buffalo Bills and Rogers Media on this exciting series,’ says Insight Sports president/CEO Kevin Albrecht. ‘The NFL is one of the world’s great sporting properties, and we believe the Canadian market will enthusiastically embrace this series.’

Based in Toronto, Insight Sports operates three specialty television networks including GOLTV Canada, WFN: World Fishing Network and GameTV, while also holding significant interest in the NHL Network. It also owns and operates the Capital One Grand Slam of Curling and Ford Major League Gaming Canada, and manages Wayne Gretzky’s official website, www.gretzky.com.
