E! re-dresses celebs with Naked Fashion

Canwest's all-entertainment net has a new show that applies a bit of tech - and a bit of Go Fug Yourself - to the art and arguments of fashion criticism.

Canwest’s E! is set to launch Naked Fashion on Saturday, March 29 at 7:30 pm. The show’s panelists freeze footage of celebs like Mariah Carey, Hillary Swank and Pamela Anderson to argue over what they should have been wearing. Then they change up the footage by using technology to re-dress the celebs onscreen and set them back in motion – walking the red carpet or posing for the paparazzi.

The show is hosted by Myleene Klass (Popstars). Panelists include Paula Reed (Project Catwalk), star stylist Michael Schaeble and celebrity fashion bloggers Jessica Morgan and Heather Cocks (a.k.a. ‘The Fug Girls’ – pictured). The Fug Girls are famous for their fashion reviews on www.gofugyourself.com, which attracts about four million viewers per month.

Naked Fashion will mix the makeovers with fashion tips, trends and celeb news. The show, a Canwest co-production with Cineflix-Media, ‘blends innovative CGI and insider celeb fashion gossip to create a new global style brand,’ says Cineflix head of factual entertainment Rob Carey.

Cineflix has offices in Montreal, Toronto, Dublin and London and production centres in Toronto and London.
