Saskatoon-based Western Producer Publications announced yesterday that Acreage Life – the lifestyle and general interest magazine it publishes for upscale readers in Central and Western Canada – has named Canadian Primedia as its national advertising rep.
About 75,000 copies are distributed around the Greater Toronto Area, through the Prairies, in the Calgary-Edmonton corridor and throughout the lower mainland of British Columbia. Its contents are aimed at those who live just outside the city on smaller country properties.
‘Acreage Life is a cleverly conceived niche magazine that successfully caters to the affluent consumer who owns acreage property,’ explains Canadian Primedia president Ron Clark. ‘It is an ideal addition to our growing roster of shelter and upscale consumer magazines, and we’re delighted to have been chosen as their national advertising representative.’
Clark says the magazine entertains, informs and inspires readers with diverse features on gardening, lawns, yards and landscaping; care of pets (including horses); nature, photography, outdoor recreation, food, wine, barbequing and entertaining; kitchen, bathroom and home renovations, home security, tools, decks, solariums, gazebos and other building projects; wood-burning stoves and fireplaces; and solar, wind and geothermal energy sources, conservation and the environment.
