Aveeno contest winner to get double treat

The Johnson & Johnson brand is celebrating its Olympics sponsorship and highlighting past host cities where some of its product ingredients come from.

Through an affiliated sponsorship with Johnson & Johnson for the Beijing 2008 Olympics, Aveeno is hosting an online contest whose prize is a trip to one of the cities that is not only a past host of the Games, but also the origin of one of the brand’s Active Naturals ingredients.

‘To celebrate our affiliation with Johnson & Johnson, a worldwide partner of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, we want to immerse you in these ingredients by sending you to their source,’ says Markham, Ont.-based Aveeno group brand director Ted Lachmansingh.

Ending August 28, the contest will offer one winner a retreat at their destination of choice from among three sites where Aveeno sources ingredients: Nagano (shiitake mushrooms for the Positively Ageless line), Turin (the feverfew flower used in Ultra Calming products) or Athens (where oats are cultivated for Daily Moisturizing Lotion).
