The Food Network kicks off the September marathon craze on Monday, September 1 from 3 pm to 12 am with back-to-back episodes of The Next Food Network Star. From 3 pm to 8 pm, episodes of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives airs on Sunday, September 7. Following weeks feature Food Network Challenge, Dinner Impossible and Iron Chef America.
Superstar Food Stylist, a cooking challenge with a $10,000 prize will air on Sunday, September 6 at 4 pm (repeating Sunday, September 7 at 8 pm). In Princess Cakes, on Wednesday, September 10 at 11 pm (repeating on Saturday, September 13 at 4 pm), five of America’s top cake designers will transform Snow White, Belle, Cinderella and Jasmine into three-foot tall cakes.
HGTV will spend Labour Day with network premiere episodes of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (Ty Pennington, pictured) from 12 pm to 8 pm.
Also on Labour Day, Slice is holding a Project Runway IV marathon from 9 am to 10 pm.
New to Slice will be Entertainment Tonight Canada (Cheryl Hickey, Rick Campanelli) beginning September 2 at 7:30 pm. The show aims to further Canada’s reputation as an entertainment and celebrity hot spot.
New episodes of returning series on the channel include Project Runway beginning September 1 at 10 pm, The Mom Show IV (Catherine Marion, Laurie Gelman) weekdays at 2 pm beginning September 8 and Biggest Loser US II Thursdays at 10 pm beginning September 25.
