What shows won prime time on this week’s chart?
Here are the national winners (for all persons 2+; all times ET), according to BBM/Nielsen, for July 28-Aug. 3, 2008.
Monday: CTV’s Canadian Idol at 9 pm took the top spot with an average minute audience of 984,000 viewers (down from 1.192 million on the previous week’s national chart).
Tuesday: Global’s Wipeout at 8 pm raked in the highest audience with 944,000 viewers (up from 886,000).
Wednesday: CTV’s So You Think You Can Dance at 9 pm won the night with 1.449 million viewers (down from 1.282 million).
Thursday: CTV’s So You Think You Can Dance at 9 pm attracted 1.462 million viewers (up from 1.381 million), taking #1 again.
Friday: With no prime-time drama or reality making the list, the top-scoring program on Friday night was CTV Evening News at 6 pm with 1.062 million viewers.
Saturday: No prime-time drama made the national chart.
Sunday: Global’s Big Brother took the top spot at 8 pm with 786,000 viewers (up from 738,000).
