Yesterday, by launching on Rogers Cable in Ontario and New Brunswick, Corus Entertainment’s CosmoTV extended its reach by about 1.4 million households, bringing its total number to nearly 5 million. The channel is currently available to all Rogers Digital Cable customers as a free preview.
‘There has been a great deal of excitement around the launch of CosmoTV, and the audience reaction has already more than delivered on our expectations,’ says Paul Robertson, president, television, Corus Entertainment.
Rogers Cable joins a fleet of BDUs that already carry CosmoTV, including Bell TV, Star Choice, Shaw and MTS. The channel officially launched on Valentine’s Day, as covered by MiC.
CosmoTV targets the women 18-34 demo, running wide-ranging programming including the net’s flagship show Oh So Cosmo, Sex and the City and The Bachelor.
