CBC’s The National wins the work week

Here are the national champs (for all persons 2+; all times ET) according to BBM/Nielsen for August 11 – August 17, 2008.

Monday – Friday: CBC’s The National, airing at 10:36 pm due to the Olympics, stayed at the top of the ratings list for the entire work week, with an average minute audience of 1.371 million viewers (up from 869,000 last week).

Saturday – Sunday: The Olympics on CBC at 6 pm took top weekend honours again on both Saturday and Sunday with 1.337 million viewers (up from 1.165 million on Saturday and Sunday of last week).
