MuchMusic and MTV Canada are encouraging young Canadians to cast ballots in the Oct. 14 federal election with a series of cheeky television ads.
The spots airing on MuchMusic feature elders in classrooms and gyms, and challenge young Canadians to think about whether they want older people making their decisions for them.
On MTV Canada, four edgier 15-second ads, launched this week, feature young people urinating with the caption, ‘There are other ways to mark your territory. On Oct. 14, vote.’ The controversial ads will also air on MuchMusic this Monday.
