Here are the national champs (for all persons 2+; all times ET) according to BBM/Nielsen for Dec 1-7, 2008.
Monday: Shrek the Halls on CTV at 8 pm came out on top with an average minute audience of 1.605 million viewers (displacing CSI Miami, which was last week’s winner with 2.059 million).
Tuesday: House, on Global at 8 pm, stayed at number one with 2.200 million viewers (down from 2.305 million viewers last week).
Wednesday: So You Think You Can Dance Canada on CTV at 8 pm claimed top spot with an average minute audience of 1.470 million viewers (displacing Criminal Minds, which was last week’s winner with 2.384 million viewers).
Thursday: Grey’s Anatomy, on CTV at 9 pm, was number one with 2.295 million viewers, displacing CSI, which was tops last week at 10 pm with 2.04 million viewers.
Friday: CTV’s evening news at 6 pm won the night with an average minute audience of 1.408 million viewers, down from 1.314 million last week.
Saturday: Game #1 of Hockey Night in Canada on CBC at 7 pm won with 1.220 million viewers, down from 1.372 million viewers last week.
Sunday: CTV’s Amazing Race took the evening with 2.143 million viewers (replacing CTV’s Desperate Housewives, which had 1.899 million viewers last week).
