Criminal Minds takes the top spot for the week

CSI New York moves into second place.

Here are the national champs (for all persons 2+; all times ET) according to BBM/Nielsen for Dec. 15 – Dec. 21, 2008.

Monday: CSI Miami, on CTV at 10 pm, came out on top with an average minute audience of 1.775 million viewers (up from 1.652 million over the previous week).

Tuesday: Without a Trace, on CTV at 10 pm, was most viewed on Tuesday with 1.372 million viewers (replacing House on Global, which was at 2.242 million viewers the previous week).

Wednesday: Criminal Minds on CTV at 9 pm was the number one show with an average minute audience of 2.103 million viewers (replacing CSI New York on CTV, which was at 2.137 million viewers the previous week).

Thursday: CSI on CTV at 9 pm was most viewed again, with 1.507 million viewers (down from 2.891 million the previous week).

Friday: CTV’s evening news at 6 pm stayed on top with an average minute audience of 1.351 million viewers (down a tad from 1.362 million viewers the prior week).

Saturday: Game #1 of Hockey Night in Canada on CBC was most viewed with 1.163 million viewers (replacing CTV’s evening weekend news, which was at 1.066 million viewers the previous week).

Sunday: The Sunday evening movie on CBC at 8 pm took the top spot with 1.313 million viewers (replacing Survivor: Gabon on Global, which was at 1.855 million viewers the previous Sunday).
