BBM/Nielsen Top 30: Feb. 23 – March 1, 2009

House comes in a cranky second.

Here are the national champs (for all persons 2+; all times ET) according to BBM/Nielsen for Feb. 23 – March 1, 2009:

Monday: House on Global at 8 pm had the largest audience for the night and the second-highest of the week, with 2.463 million viewers. (It was also the most popular the previous week but with 2.425 million viewers.)

Tuesday: NCIS on Global at 8 pm is a new player on the ratings block, winning over 1.550 million viewers. (The American Idol performance show on CTV, which moved to Wednesdays, was the champ the previous week with 2.312 million.)

Wednesday: The American Idol performance show on CTV at 8 pm had 2.038 million viewers (Its follow-up, the American Idol results show had 2.219 million viewers in that timeslot the previous week.)

Thursday: CSI was the champ for the night and the week with an audience of 2.740 million (Grey’s Anatomy on CTV was the most watched the previous week with 2.352 million viewers.)

Friday: CTV Evening News at 6 pm was the highest-rated for the day with 1.440 million viewers (It was also most popular the previous Friday with a similar 1.422 million viewers.)

Saturday: Hockey Night in Canada on CBC at 7 pm attracted 1.141 million viewers (The show was the most-watched the previous week with just 1.833 viewers.)

Sunday: The Amazing Race on CTV at 8 pm is back on top with 2 million viewers. (The reality show was ousted by the Academy Awards on CTV the previous week with 4.465 million viewers.)
