Here are the national champs (for all persons 2+; all times ET) according to BBM/Nielsen for May 18 – 24, 2009:

Monday: CSI Miami on CTV at 10 pm attracted the largest audience for the night again with 1.834 million viewers. (House on Global attracted the largest audience for the night the previous week, with 2.071 million viewers.)

Tuesday: American Idol performance show on CTV at 8 pm had 2.344 million viewers, and was the second highest-rated program for the week. (The talent show won over 2.103 million viewers and was in first place the previous week.)

Wednesday: American Idol finale on CTV at 8 pm was most-watched for the night and the week with 2.622 million viewers. (American Idol had 2.035 million viewers as the top program of the night the previous week.)

Thursday: So You Think You Can Dance is back on CTV at 8 pm, and it boogied to the largest audience of the night with 1.444 million viewers. (The Grey’s Anatomy season finale was most-watched the previous week with 2.237 million viewers.)

Friday: CTV Evening News at 6 pm attracted the largest audience with 1.093 million viewers. (Flashpoint on CTV was the most popular program the previous Friday with 1.223 million viewers.)

Saturday: CTV National News at 11 pm had 990,000 viewers as the top program for the evening, and was also the top-watched show the previous week with 956,000 viewers.

Sunday: Criminal Minds on CTV at 9 pm was most-watched with 1.220 million viewers. (Survivor Tocantins on Global was the highest-rated program the previous Sunday with 1.598 million viewers.)
