Here are the top-ranked shows in Canada (for all persons 2+; all times ET), according to BBM Canada, for Oct. 19 to 25, 2009.
Monday: House on Global at 8 p.m. remained the top program of the week, gaining eyeballs and reaching 3.701 million viewers. (House had 3.099 million viewers the previous week).
Tuesday: NCIS on Global at 8 p.m. held on to the top spot, attracting 2.404 million viewers. (The police drama had an audience of 2.473 million the previous week).
Wednesday: Criminal Minds on CTV at 9 p.m. dropped in the ranks from the previous week, but held on to the top spot for the night with 2.861 million viewers. (The show had an audience of 2.943 million the previous week).
Thursday: Survivor Samoa on Global at 8 p.m. knocked out long-time champ Grey’s Anatomy with 3.187 million viewers (Grey’s Anatomy on CTV was most-watched the previous week with 2.884 million viewers).
Friday: CTV Evening News at 6 p.m. replaces Flashpoint as the most-watched program of the night with 1.573 million viewers. (Flashpoint on CTV was most popular the previous week with 1.642 million viewers).
Saturday: Hockey Night in Canada Game #1 on CBC at 7 p.m. is gaining viewers as the season goes on, cracking the top 10 and reaching 2.306 million viewers. (The program was also most-watched the previous week with 1.718 million viewers).
Sunday: Amazing Race 15 on CTV at 9 p.m. remained the winner for the end of the week, attracting 2.619 million viewers. (The reality show had 2.413 million viewers the previous week).
