The holiday season is here and with it, a host of new brands on the Media Monitor radio rankings list for Nov. 23 to 29, 2009.
In Toronto, Canadian Tire put dollars into radio for its holiday promotional push, putting the retailer at the #1 spot for last week. Porter Airlines held firm to its #2 spot and Buick sneaked into the #3 ranking after not appearing on the list at all the week previous. Big movers on the list included Walmart rising up from #134 to #4 and The Source from #96 to #8.
Alarm Force continued its reign atop the Montreal top 10 – you’d have to put some serious dollars down to shake them – while The Source sped up to #2 from #96 the week previous. Honda remained in #4 while Dumoulin inched up to #5 from #7.
