CFL Grey Cup most-watched of the year – BBM

Global's House is bumped to second place for the week.

Here are the top-ranked shows in Canada (for all persons 2+; all times ET), according to BBM Canada, for Nov. 23, 2009 to Nov. 29, 2009.

Monday: House on Global at 8 p.m. had the highest ratings of the night and was second best of the week with 2.911 million viewers. (House was on top the previous week with 2.955 million viewers.)

Tuesday: NCIS on Global at 8 p.m. is most popular again with 2.470 million viewers. (The cop drama had 2.470 million viewers the previous week.)

Wednesday: Criminal Minds on CTV at 9 p.m. ousts CSI New York as the most-watched program of the night with 2.7 million viewers. (CTV’s CSI: New York had 2.782 million viewers the previous week).

Thursday: Mid-season recaps and reruns have left the Thursday night battle out of the top ten altogether. However, Survivor: Samoa on Global at 8 p.m. still attracted 1.978 million viewers as the top program of the night. (Grey’s Anatomy was most-watched the previous week with 2.934 million viewers.)

Friday: CTV Evening News at 6 p.m. attracted the largest audience for the night with 1.732 million viewers. (CTV Evening News was also the champ the previous week with 1.754 million viewers.)

Saturday: Hockey Night in Canada (HNIC) Game #1 on CBC at 7 p.m. holds on as the top program of the night with 1.783 million viewers. (HNIC game #1 was most-watched the previous week 2.101 million viewers.)

Sunday: Football is rumoured to be the next hockey, and the CFL Grey Cup on TSN at 6:30 p.m. had a record 5.087 million people tune in, becoming the most-watched event of the year. (Amazing Race 15 on CTV had 2.260 million viewers as the most-watched program the previous week.)
