W Network shows women how to Look Good Naked

Cosmo TV and W Network launch four new reality TV series in January, with a focus on makeovers, culinary challenges and dating troubles.

Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet aren’t the only women who have trouble finding true love – a new show based on The Holiday – in which the two actresses’ characters swap homes and dating scenes – is coming to Cosmo TV this January. Holidate, a one-hour series premiering Jan. 3 at 4 p.m., features attractive career women who go on three dates picked by the other women on the show. The show targets women aged 18 to 34, and will run for 10 episodes in its regular timeslot Mondays at 9 p.m. starting Jan. 4.

Customized sponsorships are available for Holidate as well as for another show airing on W Network – How to Look Good Naked Canada. Opportunities include tagged on-air promo spots, billboards and standard commercials.

How to Look Good Naked Canada host Zain Meghji helps insecure women regain confidence in their physical attributes. Then, after a makeover (without plastic surgery), sends them off on a runway in front of hundreds of people, wearing nothing but lingerie. Naked (13 x 60 min) targets women aged 25 to 49, and will launch during a special programming block called Naked Night, after a UK version of the show, on Tuesday, Jan. 5 at 10 p.m.

Other programs debuting on Corus’s W Network includes Come Dine With Me, a half-hour hosting competition with a cash prize for the most hospitable dinner host with the best menu and presentation. The show airs weekdays at 8 p.m. starting Jan. 4, and will run for 12 weeks.

Focusing on more experienced entertainers, Adventures of Caroline & Dave is a 13-part series that follows the couple as they open a trendy vegetarian restaurant in Ottawa’s Chinatown. With life savings and relationships on the line, the stresses of opening a restaurant are documented in this one-hour program debuting Wednesday, Jan. 6 at 9 p.m.
