CTV has picked up the business-minded reality Undercover Boss with plans to debut the series in the enviable post-Super Bowl slot on Sunday, in lockstep with US broadcaster CBS.
Undercover Boss will air at roughly 10 p.m. ET, following the game between the New Orleans Saints and the Indianapolis Colts. CTV has not released scheduling details for subsequent episodes, and expects to announce details next week, when the broadcaster will also begin its Olympic coverage.
Boss follows high-ranking executives as they roll up their sleeves to work anonymously alongside staff at their companies, getting a taste of how the other half lives. Companies whose executives will be featured in the show include 7-Eleven president and CEO Joseph DePinto, Hooters president and CEO Coby Brooks and Waste Management president and COO Larry O’Donnell.
The deal was negotiated by UK-based All3Media International.
